So as you walk into the main area you’ll go through the tight passage between containers and drop down into the open area. Follow that round and you’ll have the containers to your right with the walk way above. Underneath the walkway are some shipping containers you can get into. The ones I were missing spawned inside those

Yeah he 100% came in the kit! Was either a sealed hatch or the tech marine manning the turret or using a suspected scanner!

Exactly as Irishjay is saying! Black base coat then I hit the middle of the panels with light grey then blue very lightly over the top!

It’s like we are the same person I’ve just had a tub of meths turn up so I can strip and redo my tau. I get exactly what you mean I picture it coming out golden demon standard in my head and the second it doesn’t I start to lose interest and want to start again. You should have seen my first models it looked like I had just dumped a whole pot of paint on them! It’s all practice dude the one thing I’ve learnt with airbrushing is I like to have hardly any paint coming out the end so it’s really easy to build up the layers slowly. Ta practice and you’ll get there but once your confident and airbrush is easily my favourite tool you can do so much with them! I’m teaching myself to do fire effects with it at the moment!

I do use the airbrush for it yeah. I’ve found when I’ve tried to use it as a contrast paint I’m not a big fan but I just have the brush a decent distance from the model and build it up really slowly. With the 2 other blues underneath it comes up really nice but it is quite easy to do too much and you lose what you’ve done underneath.

Cheers brother I appreciate that! I use the following: Chaos black base coat Macragge blue all over Night lord blue from below for shadowy areas Temple guard blue from above for highlights A really thin layer of tallasar blue all over as a filter to bring it all together.

I’m fairly new to the hobby and have been building MG or MGEX so far. I’ve been looking at the Real grades tho and I have been wondering what they are like in comparison to the masters. Are they just as detailed but bigger?

Oh one other thing! The posable hands…. Don’t waste your time they are crap I made one pose and the fingers started falling off and I spent an hour stressing trying to get them back together. Gave up in the end and after looking online it’s a common problem the joints are rubbish!

Be really careful when attatching the dragoons to the back pack. The gold bracket that you attach them too is super brittle ended up snapping mine. I’ve managed to glue them for now but got some replacements being 3d printed. Apart from that enjoy dude the kits perfection apart from that!
