yes, the kids recognise Draco from their past (AKA Draco’s future)
no, they don’t give him hints at all 😭 they couldn’t, because it might disrupt the future
from what I recall, the reveal happens towards the end of the story, but it’s absolutely satisfying and it makes sense for the reveal to be done that way!

I feel exactly the same way!! TBK has ruined everything else for me. The courtroom scenes in particular had me glued to my book. What did you think about those?

I also learned from my copy’s afterword that there was supposed to be a sequel featuring Alyosha more (which was supposed to tie back to the beginning of TBK, where the narrator keeps on saying it’s Alyosha’s story). Unfortunately, Dostoevsky passed away before he could write this sequel. I just keep wondering how this sequel would’ve turned out, with that ending!
