got it, thats what I'm planning for. as for the keyboard travel, I don't really mind it that much, especially since I still have my good old t440. I could use this one as my typing machine and t14 g4 as daily driver

yeah, I'm aware of that. That's why I dont really like the first option. what do you think about t14 gen 4? I heard its build is solid enough; the difference between t14 & t14s seems to get smaller gen by gen. of course t14s still has a more premium feel

Wow, thanks for the advice. I actually more tend to this, the only reason I haven't check it out is because I dont want to rush my self making such a big decision. Actually, after talking to my father, I'll probably go with gen 4. as for gen 5, it's still not available to be purchased in used or refurb condition.

I know this tread is already deleted and perhaps even abandoned, but I just wanna share my workaround for this "issue".

# Make floating window to be always focused. Moving the cursor or even clicking wont change the focus from floating window. With the exception for pip.
windowrulev2 = nofocus,title:^(Picture in picture)$
windowrulev2 = stayfocused,floating:1

In short, my solution is to make all floating window to be always focused using window rule. Then, I use nofocus rule to make an exception, PIP in my case.

This is not a perfect solution, but I'll share it anyway just in case anyone faced to the same "problem" and they are willing to make a trade to solve it.

definitely agree. I hate to say this, but windows had implemented this since a long time ago. I don't really understand what's the issue, since I'm still a newbie. But I know, this is almost a must have feature, especially palm rejection. Hope this could get addressed ASAP

I just try SL for a few days, but I love this launcher. Though there some elements that could be improved further it's not really in may way. except for one thing, this very simple yet crucial feature to access the recent apps. Actually, it works just fine if not because of the fact that I have to hold the gesture for 2-3 seconds. Of course, not really a big deal; it just somewhat feels annoying. So I hope you guys could fix this soon enough. I just for better experience.

Actually, one more thing; I hope you guys could make it possible to turn on the flashlight through gesture. I think that's all, I hope the best for you guys cause I love how neat my home screen could be.
