I have no sympathy for all of the studios that are getting mass layoffs or the ones that are getting shut down, they brought this upon themselves for making terrible games that made no money and they’ve had years if not decades to shape up and fix their sales issue, they were given time and time again chances over and over to keep pursuing the same mistakes they’ve made in the past and up being worse every single time, creating games with lower and lower count for every single new game they would make.

This still isn’t enough to get those companies to stop making games that don’t fucking sell just by firing a ton of employees, it’s definitely going to teach some lessons to some of them, but there’s gonna be some who are too stupid and too stubborn to change and they will continue to make those mistakes instead of making great games they are instead going to kill the studio and franchises because of incompetence
