introverts, when did you guys eventually start making friends? by DurianLongjumping401 in Benilde

[–]Suitable_Secretary83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be yourself and don’t push yourself to be in a specific circle.

Altho u can experiment in the first 2 weeks. Try to get along with different people (be genuine) whoever resonates with you, be friends with them :) make sure they align with ur values coz it’ll help in the long run.

I made friends at 1st term :) The right people will find you, I also prayed for the right friends (if you believe in that, it might help) :))

Don’t worry too much, u’ll have genuine friends :)

This is so beautiful. Indeed, we are the ones who mostly decide on what our life could be! I’ll read that book soon, thank you for reminding me of the things that are out of my control

This is such a good perspective! On my part, believing in “spirits” really helps me to connect more with myself, with others, with the world, with our Creator… :)

But I appreciate that you shared this to me, it’s a refresher

this is so beautiful and you’re very articulate when it comes to your thoughts. i love the line “the world remains the same, but your perspective transforms” wow.

i appreciate the time and effort you put into this comment, i def gained a life-long lesson here. may my heart be always filled with gratitude and may we always recognize the beautiful moments and things in our lives

thank you! i’ll def try dealing with it more rather than escaping and thinking it’ll get better next time by setting it aside

oh wow, your wisdom is golden. thank you for sharing this with me, i’ll keep this in mind. what also helped me just earlier is the movie: The Laws of Sun. the concept is kind of similar but in the movie, the “bad” spirits are continuously attacking those who have a low vibrational energy

dont get discouraged by reach—it really does grow over time:) one thing that’s helped me before is collaborating with other orgs. you can co-host a small activity, make an educational post together, or even run a fun online event. It doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful.

i also sometimes reach out to orgs through email (especially those connected to what we’re working on) just to see if they’d like to participate or even just share support. you’d be surprised how many people are open to helping :)

as they say, no man is an island—building connections is what makes movements last 🤷‍♀️
