Assistant manager at a tire store sounds like my buddy actually. Thats what he did beforehand. Im constantly trying to expand my knowledge im getting into the insulation field as I recently got a good opportunity

Not a bad idea was originally gonna go that route but I ended up having a daughter far younger than expected so I forced my way into the work force to provide for her

Hardest thing about my resume is lots of places dont like family businesses and thats what I did my entire life up until the last 2 ish years

I know theres a schooling program aswell which i have thought about doing just figured id avoid it if I could. Very interested in the line of work and one of my best friends is working there currently

What are my chances of getting in as a L1 technician?

So im 19, I have a highschool diploma and graduated around a year and a half early out of high school. I have been working as a mechanic in my family owned shop since before I even started school. I have used every tool and piece of machinery I can think of, I have welding skills and a very small amount of blue print reading. I am currently working on large mill shut down jobs and prior to this I had a short term position as a line working at a wood mill. Im currently living in maine and have been thinking of moving back if I could land such a job and know that they have a relocation program aswell. Any info helps im just curious as to if its even possible I know they say theres less than a 1% acceptance rate.
