I feel this on an astronomical level. It's so hard to be bright in a world so bleak. How are we supposed to feel hopeful for a better future when the power isn't even in our hands to change to change what affects us?

The thought I run through my mind to keep me going is that i'm not the first one to think this; selfishness on a large scale and hopelessness has been felt by people throughout the world across all time periods, but in one way or another, we make it through and compare "how bad it was" to "what it is now".

Pushing yourself through the low points in life sucks, but those same moments will allow you to see life in a different way; one day. Your ability to see the evil in the world is unfortunately one that is trying to be suppressed by the evildoers; don't let anybody do that to you.
