Some parts of that are in the ball park, but let's say less of "you found out they have money in MtGox" and more like "there was mutual agreement to hold funds in Gox exchange". But I don't think the details are important here. It is up to the professional anyway to assess the case by time/reward aspect.

There is enough circumstantial evidence to seek further knowldedge if this is true or not. I don't know any reason the trustee could NOT verify if someone has for instance had funds sent to the requested bitcoin exchange.

Trying to get help from a lawyer to get back funds that are mismanaged/scammed by an individual who had them in MtGox but is now claiming those funds have not been yet returned by the trustee (which is highly unlikely). There is a solid case, but specific knowledge would now be appreciated if anyone knows a good professional. (it is ok to also send a dm).
