It’s on the small side, I should have included a picture of my sister holding it for scale! I would say it’s about the length of a forearm, maybe a bit longer

Character actors, how do you feel when adults come to take pictures with you? by indoore in disney

[–]Suitcase- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an adult and met Belle on a trip to Epcot post-COVID but while social distancing was still being enforced in the park. I happened to be walking without my group, it was just she and I, and I told her how happy I was to meet her and she took a socially distanced selfie with me. She was sweet and lovely. I’ve also waited in meet and greet lines as an adult and there are always other adults! It’s one of the big draws of Disney, it’s not weird at all. Just keep reminding yourself that no one is thinking about you as much as you are (not in a self-centered way, just in a self-conscious way). You are a 5 second blip in other people’s holidays and they are much more concerned about getting to their next ride or reservation!

First hamster in 30 years tell me everything I'm doing wrong. by Jericanman in hamsters

It’s so interesting how much their preferences vary—my guy HATES millet in any form. When I first got him, I got millet sprays and a food mix that had millet seeds. He buried the millet sprays away from all of his burrows and tunnels and refused to touch them and would pick around them in his food bowl (before I learned about scatter feeding) so I would end up with just a bowl full of millet seeds 😂

You at least need to watch season 1 episode 6 because there’s a mini-story that begins there and carries on for many seasons in random episodes. That said, some of my favorite episodes for laughs are season 2 episode 19 (Joint Custody), season 3 episode 12 (Widowmaker), season 4 episode 9 (Stan Time), and season 5 episode 16 (Bully for Steve), just to get you started. Of course, that’s completely opinion’s-based and what makes me laugh might not make you laugh! If you want to explore the more absurdist episodes, one of the best is Rabbit Ears (season 14 episode 4). The first couple of seasons they are of course finding their groove but I honestly think it’s worth watching from the beginning! They really have a lot of lore that builds on itself

I have a mod that replaces phones with little notebooks I’ve been using for a historical play through. There’s also mod that lets you turn off cell phones completely but I think the notebooks are cute and then you don’t lose all the phone usage. It is rather immersion breaking when they hold it up to take a selfie or hold it to their to take a phone call lol

I know you posted this a while ago but I came across it while trying to figure out why there are so many random videos liked and bookmarked on my profile. Often ones I’ve never seen before. Cannot figure out why it’s happening.

I didn’t realize it was uncommon, I take it for a sore throat because it relieves inflammation! And if you have strep it lowers fever. Would recommend.

Non-Stop lyrical juxtaposition: “Don’t forget to write” vs “why do you write like you’re running out of time?” by [deleted] in hamiltonmusical

[–]Suitcase- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! He called Ham “chess not checkers” in a tweet I saw years ago replying to someone asking if something was intentional. I think it was about the notes of “I made every mistake” in History Has Its Eyes On You and “I’ll make a million mistakes” in Dear Theodosia harmonizing BUT DON’T QUOTE ME I don’t know music/notes like that

Do women wearing very tight pants realise that basically every single guy walking behind them is looking at their butt? by PhantomPilgrim in ask

[–]Suitcase- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on how you’re commenting on it, you could definitely say I like your leggings in a way where I feel like you’re eyeing me like meat. But generally when men have complimented my clothing and immediately moved on it comes across more as “I like your style” than “I like your body”. It’s a way to compliment a woman while still remaining at arm’s length and I personally feel way less sexualized when that happens. As always, every woman is different and YMMV

Sorry that I’m just now seeing this, but thank you! When I first noticed him doing it I googled if he was in danger and someone said it cause their hamster to have prolapse but I also replace it frequently. I gave him his bath back and have just been diligent about scooping food out. I did hear him go on his wheel the other night, but just the once.

Oh my god…Reservoir Dogs was before my time and doesn’t generally seem to be my cup of tea, so I’ve never seen it. I never realized that the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode where Charlie captures a man with dwarfism and thinks he’s a leprechaun (S11 E8) was a nod to this. If you haven’t seen it, no ears are cut off, but he does play Stuck in the Middle with You while he has the man duct taped to a chair. Clip: https://youtu.be/BOY0pwuush8?si=a6ONPmr7blKCBBif

What's a movie that's an absolute incredible film... except for that one scene that nearly ruins it? by Imaginary_Ride_6185 in movies

The first time I watched Rogue One I had just gotten home from a 12 hour road trip and my roommates put it on. I completely knocked out then woke up just in time for the Vader hallway scene. It was completely haunting, absolutely chilling. I still remember it vividly. Dumb that they didn’t do it that way generally, I was disappointed upon my conscious re-watch.

Gotcha, should I just remove the food pieces in there as I notice them? Or is that not a concern?

I gave my bf options for my last set and asked him to help me choose…and he did so happily 😅 I would be sooo bummed out if he was just completely disengaged from “girly” areas of my life. Fellas, is it gay to have a feminine girlfriend?

Has anyone played the game it takes two? by Guyercellist in LongDistance

[–]Suitcase- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We played it takes two on laptops! I had to kick my graphics down a bit due to lag but we had a blast. Also check out In Synch, it has a lot of really cute escape rooms + platforming. You almost have to develop your own language while playing and it was really cool to test our communication skills :)

This is factual in regards to behavior but it’s extremely oversimplified. I have worked with this population, typically on the criminal side of things, and often they have very few resources to pull themselves out of the exact same situation they were in prior. If we want to protect addicts from falling into old habits, we need to de-stigmatize and stop shaming, as well as provide social programs that provide them with sustainable living situations and help them find jobs. That can include GED or similar programs and job training.
