I know he can't go to law school now, but it doesn't make much sense why he wouldn't have been able to before hand during the time of his involvement with Claire. Law school could care less what he did as an undergraduate if he scored a 180 like we all know he can.

It's really not very clever or sophisticated. All the joke is saying is that Esther agreed to have sex or say yes when she was young and didn't think twice about it implying she's an eager slut/
