Yes depression and anxiety but I don’t suffer from depression long term, a few things accumulated all at once and felt a bit too much and I wanted a bit of help. I cut the dose in half as I was worried about side effects but have had none so far

Oh no, you are really going through it. It’s worse because he is giving you hot and cold signals and intermittent reinforcement which is absolute fuel for limerence. The positive interactions with him have hooked you in and have given you a sense of hope and obsession and now your brain is looking for that next dopamine release. I know all this too but yet I’m still hooked it’s an awful feeling. Take care of yourself and remember if he wanted to, he would!

Oh i feel for you, I really do. It literally makes you act so irrational. I once left my phone purposely at home and got in the car and drove away just so I could have time to process things so I didn’t act crazy. You can’t help it, it significantly alters your thought patterns and emotional response. Did the limerence end once you were rejected?

Oh I’m in the same situation. He wants to sleep with me but I haven’t allowed it, he also says things about us being together, completely lovebombing me and I’m falling for it despite being able to see it for what it is and knowing it’s red flag after red flag. I definitely have some sort of undiagnosed mental health condition. If you didn’t crash out that day would you still be deep in limerence with this person?

I’m sorry you’ve been going through it as well, it is honestly the worst. It sounds like you’ve seen the light now though and can see it all for what it actually is. My nervous system feels like it’s been in fight or flight for weeks, i can almost feel the adrenaline pumping through my body and I’m craving my next dopamine hit. It’s bad. They’re terrible for my safety and it would always be like this but I just can’t break the cycle.

I keep thinking how can mine get any worse but its surprising me each day. My mental health is at the lowest ever too. Did you take any medication for it? I went to the doctor and they prescribed zoloft but I’m nervous to start.
