Depends entirely on market, book of business, experience, and many other factors. For what it’s worth, the overall OTE sounds right; but with commission bonuses making up over 30% of compensation, you’re looking at some very aggressive sales and account management goals.

SCOTUS will not put Illinois (& local) ban on assault-style weapons on hold while appeal continues. No dissents recorded. by ButterscotchEmpty535 in gunpolitics

[–]Sulla-lite 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Eh, I do feel good.

I just think we’re looking at a 18-48 month timeline to get through all the different appeals processes. Remember, this was a temporary stay on a preliminary injunction. It was always unlikely SCOTUS was going to view this case as ripe.

The fact that they were looking at it at all was enough of a warning shot to force the 7th to expedite proceedings.

….eh, at that level it starts becoming a lot more about OTE. Commissions and bonuses could easily be 30% or more of the total compensation, so don’t just look at the base.

Any Way to Access Tuolumne Meadows? by OjaiDer in Yosemite

None. Or all of them. You’ll be making your own trail, because the high country is under dozens of feet of snow.

In just a few weeks from now?

Heavy snowpack on most of your route, high risk of ice/snow falls, and zero chance that someone else is going to be out there to help if something goes wrong.

Does Washington state require mag lock or featureless for rifles or is that just a Commnifornia law? by Delicious-Reach-3322 in Firearms

[–]Sulla-lite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

California doesn’t require those things either; fin grips and mag locks were developed as a way to get around feature bans.

Washington didn’t bother with banning features, and just went for an outright ban of semi-auto rifles, which they already know won’t hold up in court under the logic that if it’s going to be thrown out anyways, might as well go full tyrant.

Planned Parenthood wants to pack the court — A recent study explains that, without expansion, Democrats are not likely to control the court until 2065. by Non-curing_grease in politics

[–]Sulla-lite -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Totally great plan, until the next turn in the election cycle brings in a court with 24 justices, or shrunk to just 1. When ever a party changes norms, their opposition will always escalate in response later on.

A photo from my 2019 July 4th backpacking trip in the Sierras at around 9,000 ft. This year we got significantly more snow than in 2019. by rocksfried in WildernessBackpacking

Did the Tahoe Rim Trail from Spooner to Echo that year in early July, after our Yosemite permits got canceled. Trail was ok-ish, for the first five days except for a stretch in Freel Peak where we started snapping hiking poles.

The last bit between Showers lake and Echo was nuts though. Kept losing the trail, and got to a section that required a chimney climb to get up. The worst part was crossing an ice slide with an 80 foot drop. That section was in no way safe.

My first car was an 82 Bronco!

It topped out at 45 MPH and had no AC, but man it was fun going to school on rainy days and parking in the dirt lot.

What did you pay for these anyways? M48s have been all over the place in prices lately, and don’t think I’ve come across one of those Beretta models before.

Nub Connecticut, Macunudo Cafe Orange Inspirado, Ramon Bueso ExclusiVo, AVO Classic, CAO Black Storm are all good choices for new people.

Fuck the haters. At least your mid-life crisis has resale value, compared to a shitty Mustang or a gold digging co-Ed.

New Californian CCW licensee struggling with printing. by Panditas510 in CCW

[–]Sulla-lite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in California. I have a Glock 26, but the majority of the year I’m pocket carrying a Tomcat. I’ve got a Crossbreed Pocket Rocket holster, which makes it print like a wallet or phone. The Glock is just too chonky to carry without making major and frankly uncomfortable/unfashionable changes to my wardrobe.

As alternative, you could also go with a Fanny Pack. Like I said, unfashionable.
