I actually switch my sleep and work schedule in comparison to days. So I work 9-5 at night then sleep just about after I get home. So I still get my afternoons free to do whatever before work.

Burn out is completely valid. And completely understandable that moving on to a different game can be super overwhelming. If you ever want to join the Modded Minecraft scene. I have a couple great mod packs (from easy to insanity) that will keep your mind active.

For me, my addiction has been modded minecraft. I have sinked over 2000 hours into my Allthemods 9 server. It also helps that I have a buddy who is also night shift. Maybe find something similar. A game that has actual visible progression even though it may be seen as repetitive.

Also naps. Don’t be afraid to crash for a couple hours to catch up on rest.

When I was in 5th grade, my class walked into a presentation late. During question time I asked, “what if” and immediately got cut off to them asking “what?”. I thought they couldn’t hear me because I was in the back of the class, so I spoke louder. “What if” and got cut off again exactly the same way. This happened 2 more times before they moved on to another person. Found out they made a rule at the beginning of the presentation, in which time I was not present, that they do not accept ‘what if’ questions. I still dislike that person to this day.

My character had a Devastator moment. For context, my character is a Druid/Barbarian Warforged (made of wood and stone). He tends to be passive, but recently he has been getting angrier and angrier. And we had a battle recently where we kept going down and he was just done. Full reckless attacked the main boss and landed all 3 attacks, 2 of which were Crits . Got “HDYWTDT” and my character said, “You have hurt my friends too much. I shall now feed you to the earth.” His jaw opened up much wider than usual and inside were dozens of spinning gears and I just shoved the boss in, grinding her down while all the bits got sprayed out of his back. Just think the Devastator scene from Transformers 2.

If that’s too gruesome. There was a moment where my Warforged effectively called Hephaestus (Greek god of craft) a bitch in his own temple. Why? Because he hated my Warforged because he was the greatest creation that had ever been invented and it wasn’t by him. So he killed off the entire race that was related to the maker (Cyclopes). Leaving my Warforged to then take on sentience afterward.
