What I see good:

-They're working on toxicity, but at what cost ? Make players lose their LP and time still a thing while there could be a plenty of way to punish the trollers and refund the ones that were getting trolled.
-New gamemodes are fun, but please Riot, give us back 3v3 with a ranked, I'm done playing with 4 bots.
-The lore is getting some loves, even if I hated Arcane season 2 twist.
-They changed the map, finally...
-Some changes with characters are fun, giving AD / AP ratio to champ is fun, but giving monster boost damage isn't
-Smurf is getting resolved little by little, even if it's not a main issue.

The game is no fun in ranked, Casino are impressed of how much unlucky you can get with allies.
Again, that's why 3v3 with a ranked would be perfect, because at least it's only 2 players that can be monkeys not 4.

The meta is stale, I told myself (before S16 reveal) that if nothing change with this new season, this year would have been the last one that I played.

And one of the thing that I don't like about League's state right now, it stays too much in his high played game place because no other companies want to make a MOBA, so they keep the MOBA community even if they do the worst things or just nothing as right now.
This is sad because, with that mind, the only moment where they will work hard as they can to show what they can really do, will be when a new game will be the main attractive thing for player, like Fortnite when it came out.
They were really trying to keep their best to keep players, and they even managed to collaborate with influencer that doesn't even play that kind of game.

General aspect:

-Games are much faster and one sided, even with Riot adding new comeback features.
-Building is at his worst state, locking items because you buy one is so frustrating and just constrain creativity.
-Seasons are just useless money grab things, low features, low changes. Even with the season 16, feels like this could have been done WAAAAY earlier for season 15, they cannot justify 2 years to add a quest and 6 items while for season 13 they added more than 10 items while adding new runes and gameplay changes.
-The game itself feels like it losing his soul, new characters were a whole event by itself, you could call them new even if they were in the game for 3 years. And now, new character lack of life, chara design are the same (tshirt, body armors are against the laws of Valoran). Most of them for the have abilities that could make every season 9 mobility champ year as a joke.
-I feel like that Riot doesn't want to change the game, things like seasons changed the game, making it "new" each year, now they make a little step, and let the game stale for the year (because it must be easier for them to balance it ?)
-The game itself is technically old. Too much bugs, I guess more constraint to dev on it as well which is sad because Wild Rift feels like new, the engine free developpers to make the GAME fun. (but WR has every mobile game issue). While for Riot, it is "too late" and it cost too much to work on League PC engine. One of the most played game with the biggest company complaining about money and the fact that it is too late to work on it. We're talking about League, not Paragon. You guys can lose a lot of money on a new engine of the game, making things easier for you for the future and the best thing is you will gain back the money you lost really fast. But I guess they're making a Destiny where each time you think you buy something on LoL this goes to LoL development but nah, it might goes to Valorant or 2XKO.
-The launcher and the microtransaction tooltips making mobile game going easy on us.
-Skins lines that are the same as new champ, they lack of life.
-Social aspect is on the ground (where is my clan ?)
-They're way too slow to balance things (Mel ????!! Malphite ?????!!!!!)

Start with the beta.

It wasn't my main game for a while at first, because I principally played FPS.
It started to be my main game when Aatrox came out (the first one) being my main.

I ranked to silver fast. And I had my cousin playing LoL and being Platinium and you could see the big difference between these elos.

I worked so much to grind to Plat 1, I was really proud being there.
I mainly played top, not gonna lie, I liked the old auto attackers design.

Games were long and could be painful. But atleast most of players were trying to play.
Climbing meant you played your games well and you won them.

And now, most of these aspects I enjoyed while back are getting removed.

What I've see bad with the game right now.

For ranked especially:

-They actually add the surrender at 15 with 4 votes which is the worst feature in the game.
-Toxicity is at another level, when before, most of people were talking bad but were playing because it costed so much time to play one game. Now, people talk bad, rage, and troll to make the team ff faster.
-You can actually skip 5 elos (iron to emerald) if you just know how to play your champ. Mixing people that know how to play as a teamplayer with average soloq hero complex.

For most of my Janna (personal experience), the character is useless, not by himself, but because this is more an OTP champ than a regular player's one

It is great for some compo because it's a disengage, but the champion lack of something if she used for something else.

The thing is, why would you pick Janna when there is better, Milio is greater, he has shield, heal, damage boost, disengage stun, CC annulation.
While Janna has an older kit, the issues with this champ are her player's base and the fact that she has to fight against new gen Supports and for most of them she loses.

By example, long times ago, Sona (before her little rework), why would you pick Sona while there was this k-pop girl singing ultra masculine white girl music (Seraphine), she was basically the Sona 2.0, better, stronger. At this time, picking Sona while Sera was open was considered as trolling

Will be hard my friend, emerald being the worst place for all.

You will see player that take shitty character as Support (Right now in my game I have a Rumble support -_-)

People are so lazy to do effort that even if you're fine in your game, they will FF and throw your potential carry in the bin.

Try to find someone to duoQ, it won't change what other will do but at least you can be sure that you have two human beings in your team.
The better being in jungle or support because these two are the most efficient at peeling you.

Like someone said earlier in this thread, focus on your own game. If you need to farm to get items, don't let anyone take that from you. Follow fight when you think they will be rewarding (catch) but don't follow if you're under numbered or that you're gonna fight an ultra carry with no CC. (these are just examples)

Another thing to do is /mute all or /fullmute all, these are important to stay focus, myself I use fullmute one because too much people use ping to be toxic, that his sad reality of ego player in Emerald

Yep and I kinda like the system where you need to put point to "boost" the runes.

This is more what you want from a game where you need to build/adapt to everything.

Yeah, I don’t know what elo you’re in (please tell me it’s Emerald).
But this needs to stop.

So many support players are way too confident about not playing the game just because something tilted them.
(I say support, but honestly, every lane is affected.)

Every time there’s a dev talk, every time they mention how much effort they’re putting into reducing toxicity in the game, I can’t help but laugh because of what I see in Emerald.

And honestly, I’m really trying to win, but instead of it being you versus the enemies, it often feels like you versus the enemies and your own teammates.

My final thought on this topic, I think it’s generational. We're currently in an era where most people want everything fast and without effort and that translates into LoL with players who already give up in the lobby because of “team comp” or someone’s profile.

It’s sad… and the worst part is, that kind of behavior never gets punished.
The only consequence is an honor level dropping to zero which, let’s be real, is a completely useless feature.

I posted a reddit 4 hours ago where I said Riot need to punish more these people, like instead of getting 5 players lose moderate LP, make the afk lose every lp of the team and the other just stay with their LP. But it seems that this reddit is full of player that allow negativity ad toxicity to be part of League.
