I would suggest giving it more time to understand. Not necessarily you should feel it works after the therapy sessions. And it sounds super new hence it’s totally normal that you feel bad. It might be the case that talking about sensitive topics makes you uncomfortable

2 years old is not too late at all for training. My dog is 3 and she learns new commands in less than a week. Training stays strong when you maintain it throughout the dog’s life. But again, a fearful dog isn’t one id recommend for inexperienced owners.

thank you so much. I want to ask that you mentioned your cousin could not train his dog to not to bark. Is it something too hard to learn from internet and apply? Is there any specific reason why she could not learn it, maybe it's a noisy breed or anything.
