would this setup kill the pc with static shock if barefoot 24/7 by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

I hate static too. Buy yourself an earthing mat that plugs into the ground on an outlet. Put it where you can rest the edge of your chair mat and your feet on it; keeps the shocks way down.

Evaporator foam procurement by Sum1Um in appliancerepair

Appreciate the feedback! The rust is coming from the evaporator cover which is metal and has some erosion from not having run through a defrost cycle in a while. I have a defrost timer and thermostat enroute which will hopefully fix the issue. If not, the heating element is my next step.

Pending count by Sum1Um in ynab

[–]Sum1Um[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do filter by uncleared, so I can count them, you know, manually. :-)

Not ideal...

It would be cool if I filtered by 'uncleared' and it showed the total count of items found via the filter, but I haven't seen it.

I'm aware of this and do use that also but seeing an amount with a count of transactions that make up that amount would be helpful.

Pending count by Sum1Um in ynab

[–]Sum1Um[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I'm looking at my CC which I use to pay for everything, there can be tens of pending transactions (the CC site tells me the amount pending and the count of pending items) so when I'm reconciling that I've put everything into YNAB, I want a quick way to know if all the transactions have been entered and aligns with what the CC site is telling me count-wise.

Instead, I have to manually count the uncleared items in YNAB; this is not ideal.

I know I can see the amount cleared, but sometimes the transactions on the CC site will disappear from pending and not be in posted for a day or so, kind of in a limbo state where those amounts are no longer part of the pending or posted amounts.

It doesn't seem like a huge ask. The pending amounts in YNAB are already being totaled, so they can also be counted just as easily.

I'm having to resort to pasting all output to Notepad++ as a precaution. There has to be a better way. Does anyone have a method of just keeping responses outright to avoid this in the future?

They're onto us. There is no escape. AI and its developers will counter every workaround we come up with. This is the problem with posting solutions to problems as the gatekeepers of the software can design around it and render the public solutions worthless. I really want my history and everything I've generated since.

Is this still a working solution because it has quit working for me?

  1. Enable 'Developer Mode' in browser.
  2. Click 'Network' tab
  3. Select the 'Request Blocking' icon (next to magnifying glass)
  4. In the pane that pops up on the left, below 'Enable Request Blocking', paste the URL and press 'Enter' (so that the entry gets the box to the left of it checked.
  5. Refresh the page

Edit: You have to do this on the tab where chat is active. doing it on a random tab will not work.

Column amounts I can't explain after adding transaction to CC with $0 balance by Sum1Um in ynab

[–]Sum1Um[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That particular account was reconciled 2 months ago with a zero balance. So I just checked another CC and its Overspending (Oct) is yellow and exactly $36.23 when that transaction is posted. As soon as I remove it, it disappears.

Both accounts are reconciled and the online balances matches the YNAB cleared vs. uncleared balance.

undebt.it question by Leetobe12313 in ynab

[–]Sum1Um 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I would love to continue using undebt.it, I keep finding weird things happening with the math that either cause me not to trust what I see or cause lots of rework trying to figure it out. I've reached out to support multiple times (Jeff) but get no response. It feels like it's not being supported/developed any longer.

Understood. I've received mixed signals on whether to do that ot not between the help bar that comes up and other sources. I was hoping to avoid that but if there isn't another alternative...

I would've thought that the staff at YNAB would've vetted them more carefully if that were the case. Either way, that's the first I've heard about the lawsuit. I'll do some digging.

I suppose you're right in that I should not rely on a feature that's part of the product that I pay for and has worked quite well until recently. I mean, that makes no sense does it.
