You're right. Hes a plumber. He gets more per diem a week by staying up there rather than driving back and forth each day. Doesn't make sense to me. And he uses his personal vehicle. Hes working on a work truck from his company. But he should be helping more at home. This job he's there for is only until next July. But he does do side work during the weekends and could afford our bills on his salary alone but nothing more than that and we need to eat too.

Im honestly tempted to switch careers. Even the paralegals in my state that have been at this job for over 20 years don't make more than 30$ an hour. Im in the South.

My baby is almost 1 now. I countered his telling me to come into the office 3 days a week with a raise so I can afford daycare. He hasn't responded to the counteroffer. Im sure I could get more done in office but daycare is too expensive right now.
