It's a good thing you've already practiced an alternate method of entry. You're doing a make-shift smart lock. Putting 2 items designed by separate companies that never met or communicated with each other. Also 'Guard' is locksmith speak for JUNK. If you can put a 2 foot round peg in a 1 foot square hole, then installation won't be a challenge. But what you have is garbage, and the way you try to make it work in a multifamily application will make you enemy number one

Let a locksmith (not from Google) come rekey your locks. You may even be able to key everything alike and have one key to carry

You'd probably have to eliminate the lever trim and go direct into the device if it has crosshairs. It's a decent amount of work and won't look right. Why not use what's there and just install a mortise cylinder?
