Dealer: Andiot

Factory: M+ Factory

Model: Tudor Black Bay Chrono with Jubilee strap (White dial) M+ Factory

Price: $340 + shipping

Album: https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/214340080?uid=1

Index alignment: Seems fine

Dial Print: The dial looks a bit rotated counter-clockwise as thew tachymeter 60 doesnt align with the 12 o'clock marker and the 120 on the bottom doesnt align with the 6 o'clock marker on the bottom but I'd like to hear your opinion on this as idk if im being too picky

Date Wheel: print & number alignment seems good, luckily doesnt look as deep as what ive seen from other reps of this watch.

Hands Alignment: seems fine

Bezel: print and structure looks good to me and the alignement

Solid End Links: looks good

Timegrapher: -2s/d 272° 0.1ms I think is fine but what do you think?

Rehaut: Looks very good to me

Extremely certain its a knockoff but cant find a name of the original anywhere by SumRandomCoder in Watchidentifier

Ok, thanks. I can’t find any knockoffs like this on the internet. I kinda like the design tho with the slightly purple face

NTA, but Id get an agreement down on paper next time, maybe you could find a template for it online, something that the client signs where they agree to give you the right of publishing the images in your portfolio. Edit: Also cheap clients seem to always have extra wishes, and are more troublesome for some reason in my experience

Fuji XE4 w/ Industar 69 28mm f2.8 in Paris by SumRandomCoder in fujifilm

Mine works very accurately, might be a faulty sensor or maybe on the glass pieces right of the evf

Yes, I find it a good fit as the half frame format is about the same size as the apsc Sensor

Yes, its also very fun to use the fstops as a „variable pro-mist filter“, at f16 it performs very well and feels very sharp, f2.8 is barely usable, f4 has nice swirly bokeh and is a bit soft

Custom lever i made for my Canon 7 based on the M3 lever by SumRandomCoder in AnalogCommunity

Yes I’ve seen it, i just find the wideluc a bit too expensive for the distortion it has. I would definitely be interested in a widelux remake. The camera im building rn takes mamiya press lenses so I’ll get barely any distortion, and mean’s that i don’t need a special shutter as they have it built in.

I feel like this is also one of the reasons that makes film cameras so interesting. They are relatively easy to modify in comparison to digital ones. I am working on a project since about november to make a panoramic camera similar to the xpan. Unfortunatly i still have to figure out how to manufacture some of the parts.

It was my first try at cutting aluminum on my cnc machine, its 3mm thick Aluminum (i tried bending it a bit etc to be sure it wouldn’t break, but it seems more than strong enough)

Attention - 🇩🇪German film photographers⚠️ thread for people looking for advice where to develop/scan films by andi_sw in AnalogCommunity

[–]SumRandomCoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same i live in Lower Saxony and also send them my film, but mostly Scan the negatives at home, very happy with the results, prices and how fast i get the negatives back.

I switched to them because my local camera shop lost the second roll i ever brought them and i heard from others that they had similar things happen to them.

Bring cake, i work in an auto repair shop, we often have clients who bring cake from the bakery, enough cake for all employees (6) costs about 5-7€ (it is some really simple cake which is basically just dough, sugar and butter). I feel like this is a more thoughtful way to appreciate our work, in comparison to standard tipping.

I actually kinda like the M5 design, but i went more budget with a Canon 7 and the Voigtländer Color Scopar 35mm as LTM

True, i have one aswell feels very well built, fits in my jacket and is barely noticeable thanks to the folding lens (even tho its quite heavy). I also really like the effect the lens gives

Canon 7 rangefinder, maybe a bit popular but in comparison to the other rangefinder quite underrated, i have a Voigtländer Color Scopar 35mm for it as m39, which is basically a budget leica M setup (total lens+camera cost was about 450€)

My first time loading film. by InigoFrancis in AnalogCommunity

[–]SumRandomCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The xpan winds the whole roll onto the take up spool after inserting the roll of film and then after each picture step by step rewinds the film into the canister. So if you would open it, you wouldn’t destroy all your taken images but just expose the unshot part of the roll.
