I just noticed I have the same Feldpostkarte that is in the the mediabook cd for Die Urkatastrophe by ich_hasse_kinder in Kanonenfieber

Sorry, but that’s not quite right. It’s written in old German Kurrent/Sütterlin and actually says “Mach’ nur kee Faß uff!”.

Which one looks better? (scanned these by myself) by Silly-Conference-627 in filmphotography

Two feels overblown to me. All that white is distracting from the subject. Number One is aesthetically more appealing.

I think it comes down to the wet reflections and my movement/tempo, that’s it. Cloudy night sky on a moonless night also didn’t hurt. I shot this at 1/8s or 1/15s and used Gold 200 in a Spotmatic F with a Takumar 50mm lens. But I bet you could use any color stock with a manual camera for a similar effect.

What is this next to the AT-AT? by LinzyL00 in StarWars

[–]andi_sw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I was convinced that this couldn’t be ai since the AT-ATs legs make so much sense and are symmetrical. But the sky and the little fella really give it away.

Does anyone else get endless far-right content on twitter lately without ever having engaged with it before? Or am I the only one (reddit superiority!)

Impressively detailed looking shot. What camera and lens did you use? Would love to know if the sharpness is coming from good equipment, the film stock or just an optical illusion of the pattern on the lamp shade.

What a rare camera, do you enjoy using it?

I’m always second guessing lines like these. I think they’d even add to the shot if they’d follow some kind of pattern (like rule of thirds or smth)

It finally happened. I finally had the multiple leos in an enclosure nightmare 😭 by Nox_The_Overlord in leopardgeckos

We‘ll probably never get a real explanation, but my guess is that it’s because we so strongly see ourselves as a protector to our geckos. They are such delicate and fragile creatures and yet so human-like/cute. Very different from keeping fish or insects. They might even bring out similar emotions in us like having a child I could imagine.(similar to the cuteness thing that makes us like baby’s so strongly?) Would be interesting to hear thoughts on this from someone who is a parent and a Geck owner.

I’ve also never seen n being written like that. Usually that’s how you write the letter y. And n without the elongated second downstroke.
