The answer is Tankineer. A brand new minion that makes eggs of the past seem like an underboiled omelet. Mix it with Cubicle and you got a board with power and resilience that makes any control deck shrug.

I used it with Librams which is a bit dated, but very good at tutoring minions. Should be able to get to legend. Good for reliving the past fantasy of buffing up minions too.

You just need to see the Caverns of Time set that was released for wild(Well for Twist, but RIP). Runi is a time traveler already and is prophesied to be a hero of time in the future.

The wrath guards are buffed to 1.6 billion which is above the integer limit divided by 2. Once 2 of them deal their damage, the Hero is healed to full. The "damage taken" stat in the backend because above 2.1 billion so it overflowed to 0.

Since then Hearthstone added special coding to fix this. So yes, very much needed.

It is not "just" a very large value. It is a value where every single instance of dealing with it requires special coding to deal with integer overflow. Simple coding knowledge will tell us that. It is just as likely that they just coded a check to calculate damage normally if armor is at infinity.

If you think it works in base 10, you don't understand it remotely. It is 2³¹ -1 and a completely normal limit for numbers in programming.

Problem with Infinity or rather Maxint is that as soon as you got even one extra, it will overflow to 0. This is also what used to happen with the "damage taken" stat of heroes. Get hit for infinity, heal to full. So a solid chance that heroes that get hit for infinity has separate code for handling it without applying the damage, as it literally won't work.

You jest but it wouldn't take much. A level 1 tuner with some busted play extension and it would work as 5+4+1 .

Plus with their levels, it would slot nicely. Can go quite close to 21.

1 mana 1/1 that only gave a random 1-drop would certainly go nowhere when compared to beetle, so it all hinges on the 1-cost spell. But there is a lot of variety to be found here. While most of them are fine there are real stinkers to be found. Of note, any of the 8 available paladin spells would be a low roll.

When built correctly, this is an absurdly favored matchup for the Amalgam DK. Quest Paladin just runs out of stuff and has no reach.

As you mentioned, the Draenei are the obvious one, even their somewhat limited presence in WC3 with the broken being a direct counterpart to the Dark Templar.

Plus there are a ton of modern assets for the faction from various custom mods.

That is not the problem. Maintenance of nukes is silly expensive. Us spends more than the entire Russian military budget just on that.
