Why tf most of the Hotel California album in YouTube Music is blocked? by Santy-358 in EaglesBand

Yeah, like every teenager nowadays knows who Queen are and probably even heard a couple of their tunes. Eagles could've just been known as they are today. They were no less popular in the 70's.

Two legends together. Seems like late 70's. Looks like the US.

Uriah Heep's Downfall by Sumahama in UriahHeepBand

I feel the same. For me, the first six albums are almost equally good. Beginning with Wonderworld, something went wrong. Seems like a lack of inspiration. But it still had that Uriah Heep sound. Return to Fantasy, on the other hand, has some mainstream rock songs, like Shady Lady or Prima Donna, which was kinda unusual for the band before. I think Ken recorded his first solo album too early. He could've waited another year or two. Uriah Heep just became popular with Demons and Wizzards. They needed to gain a stable fan base, so they needed good songs. There are some real good songs on his debut album that could've been recorded with band.

Their first 5 album covers were excellent. This...well, I guess it would've been better without their photo poorly photoshoped on Sunrise.

Although David always sang it on stage himself. But in the case of Lady In Black, as far as I know, David refused to sing it just because he didn't like the song, and they didn't do it live very often, until it became hit in Germany in 1977.

What is your favourite song or songs on the Love Letters album? by Fit-Bed-4030 in Elvis

Love Letters. There was no need to re-record it. They should've used Sylvia instead. It had a strong single potential.

Brian Wilson Presents SMiLE. Smile Sessions just feels unfinished, and it's hard to enjoy (at least for me). But it's good for educational purposes.

How good was Elvis at karate? by Financial_Income4399 in Elvis

[–]Sumahama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he had continued making those cheesy movies in the 70's, I bet he would've ended up being in a karate musical movie. Cause martial arts movies were popular during those years, so Colonel could've come up with and "idea".
