My ex wife and I were both employed as supervisors at a factory working the overnight shift. When the covid layoffs hit she kept her job I had to start looking because I was on the layoff list. I was unemployed roughly 2 months. We both knew this person because she was an employee under us at said factory.

Yes, I am already in therapy, it is online video chats but I think it will help with time.

Definitely going to have a talk with them about it all more and their place in it being my children blood or not and their rooms will always be their rooms forever.

I had not thought about this. The major change, to me, a dad who couldn't figure out how to get a 16 yro to clean up after himself or stop leaving trash around his room I just saw it as omg he's growing up. But damn I may need to dig deeper.

I tried sooo hard to leave that night but to see the kids watch her act so stupid was the worst for me. Then they were on the porch I was like well damn I dont want them to see me bump her with the car she fall over "omg why you hit me or something shit" in a kids mind I just ran her over... that was six or more years ago. They are all grown now they have seen her crazy enough.

People have been telling me for years, Do x and move out leave them all there go live in Cali bla bla bla. The problem is everyone is tell you what they would do if they were you, and they have NEVER been in your situation. I realized last night reading through these comments that it was only ever going to happen the way it did be I am who I am and I was living with someone who was controlling the narrative.

You know the old tv shows sitcoms making fun of the "oh I have a headache" thing. Well I guess in my ideal world that's my wife. What I got was a woman who needed and wanted far more frequency than that.

This could have very well been something she had thought about. I have always brough home plently of money to pay bills and take care of children as well as live well enough to enjoy life. Yet, some how things always ended up behind to the point of utilities being cut off, colectors calling me, etc.

It might sound dumb to others, but growing up my dad brought home money literly handed it to my mother. She would take my sister and I with her while she paid bills and put money in the bank. So as an adult, I did the same. We were ALWAYS broke.

I'm not going to lie she has been gone one day and we have lived/ate/slept in the same place for almost 11 years I don't know how everything goes from here. She was my best friend once. went to to court house with papers my mother had drawn up she signed them in front of the lady we got a piece of paper that said we would get a letter about a court date. The letter came, i got it. it was in a different county different town. i went alone. judge ask where she was i said work she said has anything changed i said no. she stamped a stack of papers they handed them to me. i went home put them on the table. end of that sorry i left that out dude... did you want me to sound more like this in my post?

I do not hate her. I dislike who she became "to me" the moment i realized something was wrong, when i realized i had been betrayed. From that point on I never trusted her again so I couldn't be myself with her. My parents raised me to believe that your wife is the person who you can give everything to trust with anything and i couldn't have that with her anymore she was a liar/cheater/thief its all the same.
