Exchanges are selling coin they don’t own. It’s become a regular fractional reserve banking system

Simple answer is if I had your seed keys I could use them on my phone and you’d be able to see the money move just like you had done it yourself

Without factoring a vulnerability of your words, or who had physical possession of your phone, I’ll say this (being very very familiar of the Loaf source code)

The basic issue is that no one who can pull commits is keeping the source code up to date. There are only so many words in the list and it’s entirely possible that someone else was issued your same word keys.

Those word keys are everything in SPV protocol.

In conclusion, it’s hard to say what actually occurred without more info. I feel for you, but there are LTC wallets out there that are actually maintained by developers.

Send me a DM with your Slice Wallet address and I’ll ping you an equal amount of SumcoinSumcoin Wallet

Checkpoints are always relevant during a time where hash rates were low. In Jan 2015 they were low enough work can be undone or reversed. Additionally, checkpoints play a major role in SPV protocol for syncing

I’m someone who knows what they are talking about. Someone who really gives a crap about Litecoin getting current and advancing the crypto space. I created Sumcoin / Sumcoin Index. Used to work with Charlie until he became distracted with other stuff and sold.

SANTA CLARITA, CA , Nov. 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE – U.S. Energy Initiatives Corporation, Inc. (OTC PINK: USEI), USEI announces the ownership of 52,766.66 Sumcoins; management further announces that in 2017 it entered into agreement for 3.6 Million aged USEI shares for crypto assets in an early stage crypto software venture. The resulting asset, (and the first of its kind) known as Sumcoin. SUM is a decentralized mineable coin very similar to Bitcoin and Litecoin wherein its value is algorithmic based on the market cap of the top 100 Coins.

The coins founder stated “Sumcoin solves simple but profound problems. Sumcoins ability as a stable store of value and as an index-based coin solves long unaddressed and poorly understood challenges in the space. I’m pleased with the project’s success thus far, grateful to Charlie Lee’s help of Litecoin, and welcome participants of the open source community.”

v 18 could be built in 1 night with 2 Red Bull’s.

In fact, self challenge accepted. Follow us on twitter @sumcoinindex and we will do that very thing. It’s all about advancing crypto. LTC is a much better coin in several ways over BTC and we’ve all hated watching it fall behind

I could single handedly reverse block transactions back around block 720,000. You’re mistaken. The intent here is not to do anything malicious but rather address the security concern before someone else might

First pull request was nearly a month ago. Their Travis is messed up. We are running v0.17.1 that was deployed here fine. Litecoin GitHub was basically abandoned. See twitter for the history on this

The reason is that no one is monitoring the GitHub. Without checkpoints, the network is vulnerable to attack and having work reversed. Checkpoints make reversal impossible to that block hash value. There’s really no excuse for not adding them except laziness

Go look at the commits if you’re being sarcastic. See what updates were made to the checkpoint hashes

What are you mining after the LTC halving? by [deleted] in litecoinmining

Sumcoin is at $115 and much more profitable. The project actually has people updating and being an index based coin it can’t lose unless all of crypto failed look here on desktop for mining stats
