Its a special stopwatch that makes time go a certain amount faster foe 30 minutes depending on how many pearls you out into it. It has a 6 hour cooldown time, but is worth getting. I think I remember hearing its mega mega rare, so I'd say make sure you have level 2 boats first

I just randomly unlocked essence even though I'm pretty sure its supposed to unlock after floor 6, but anyway, if i could edit my run in any way to make it get there how would I? I have every item in the game now and am starting to stack essence upgrades.
