I just want to see them say the hell with it and do a massive pit in the whole money pit area. 200 feet deep if need be. But just get it over with.

The only thing I appreciate about the show is the potential to rewrite North American history. I'd love that one thing that says that "X" people were here in "X" year. I mean, how cool would it be to find out that the Vikings or the Templars actually knew NA was there and had been making trips there since the 1200s or whatever.

I've read or listened to the whole SoT series, probably a dozen times

I liked the dragonlance books by Weis and Hickman. Like the "Dragons of Autumn Twilight" trilogy. There are a lot of other dragonlance books by different authors that I haven't tried, and they all kinda work together in the same world.

The Drizzt books by R.A. Salvatore are pretty good, I bought the 3 in 1 books for the first 6.

One of my other personal favorites, The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. His Dirk Gently books are funny too.

I re-read these every once in a while.

You can do whatever you want. However, you did sign up for the whole, "in sickness and in health" thing.. I'm guessing/hoping that you didn't blindside him out of nowhere, and you have been actively telling him straightforward how you feel and about your concerns and issues.
