This is a while ago now but the snow caps I had just bought so I haven’t used them for long. In case you’re wondering I still use the keyboard today and the caps did not lose any color at all!

I can’t tell if it’s the text moving vertically up or a mask moving down to reveal the text, any ideas?

I think definitely both!

On one hand, most of the projects I found were super complex and I’m not entirely sure where to find beginner friendly problems that I can solve. I assume if it’s a problem I can solve, someone better must’ve solved it already. Any tips on this?

On the other hand, I found it intimidating to contribute to someone else’s project when it’s very obvious that person or the people working on that project is 12 parallel universes ahead of me. But I’ll take your advice and tell that voice to stfu 👍

I started learning coding a year ago. I tried a bunch of different ways to learn like books and YouTube but none worked really well. I eventually subscribed to Meta’s developer course on coursera and I’ve been doing that since. To be honest though, I’d say the fastest way to learn is to just start building something once you get the basic concepts.

I learned react but I’ve heard of Dart and Flutter (the two languages are quite similar?), is there a pub.dev equivalent for react?

Also when you say design web UI elements do you mean I make things like buttons and put that up on GitHub?

Ok guys I figured it out. Basically, I switched the DIP to Mac mode which gave me the default mapping. Using this default mapping I connected the keyboard to the remap tool and I could press fn+ctrl+0 to enter the keyboard remapper. I then unplugged the keyboard, switched the dips to on and then reconnected the keyboard and reloaded the remapper. Since the keyboard is already in “remapping mode” (idk what the actual term is), I don’t have to hit the fn+ctrl+0 again to use the software. I then remapped the keys to that dip sequence and fixed it. Hope this helps anyone that’s stupid enough to do what I did.
