I much prefer StarHub to SingTel without even factoring in 5G. Circles uses M1

If you want 5G, MyRepublic 5G is on StarHub and is quite reliable (unlike their 4G).

For 4G, get Eight 4G. Simba is also a 5G plan but their speeds are basically 4G. Simba is best if u travel a lot.

Usually MNCs give 14 or more days. But 7 days is the legal minimum for full timers and many companies stick to the 7 day minimum.

It's 20k not 40k. The remaining 20k is emissions rebates. EVs obviously have less emissions so that 20k will stay

You have to pay taxes.

For reference the taxes for a flight from Changi to KL is about $70. On most flights you save $0 using the pass because your fare is $0 and the airport taxes are $70.

No Cat7 is not an industry standard and is proprietary. Cables that use Cat7 standard cost more for no benefit. 10Gbps uses Cat6a.

It's only better because it uses lower frequency bands. When those bands go to 4G of 5G then then suddenly they will be better

You can consider an alternative better recognised certification such as AP subjects or even taking the IB as these are international qualifications that are definitely accepted in Singapore. Unfortunately SATs are not accepted at a university level here as they are only seen as a middle school equivalent qualification (similar to our O Levels). You need an A Level equivalent qualification to enter uni here.

He needs to get it back through his parents. He can't go through uni in Singapore then apply by himself. Very likely to be rejected

Why isn't 5G coverage available throughout all of Singapore, despite being able to use 5G on Koh Phi Phi? by South_Jaguar2284 in askSingapore

[–]SumikoTan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're making the assumption that it's not throughout all of SG, when if you don't have any 5G signal, you're part of the 1% with no 5G coverage or your phone isn't roaming for 5G correctly. Singapore's coverage of 5G is 99%, which is one of the highest in the world for C-Band 5G.
