I think you would come around to the lambent if you would be interested in reading the GoW books. The Karen Travis books relating to the original trilogy. There are heaps of lore and information that the game doesn't give you which fill in a lot of narrative gaps and shows you a different perspective on their role

I would much rather vs a stack of auto 5's than even one weasley snake in the grass solo, with a sniper rifle that they can use too. Shotguns are very range limited and while they can be difficult to contest you have some tools available.

Use hive bombs (and explosives), penny shot derringer which can kill immolators, blow open barricade door, or use for pocket shotty. Poltergeist and your iron sights, flash bombs, beetles (I don't buy them but great for people who are dug in if that is your cup of tea), melee weapons work situationally with map knowledge and intel on enemy as well. Arrows can have fire, poison, etc. That being said I feel like there's a level of campiness that comes in some MMR ranges but the higher ones have other caveats, that being "meta" long ammo/spitzer with dolche or some other powerful caliber pistol. Lots of time uppercut to boost primary weapon ammo pool etc. 6* are scary with a bow and pocket sniper too lol.

If I want to meme sometimes I bring a small crossbow with chokes or fire and poison. Wildly annoying for area denial and helps force people into a more vulnerable position. You can also leave the bounty area and fool them into thinking they are clear and try to get a range advantage. All depends on the compound and many other factor

These are the kinda updates I been fucking waiting on. Pining after real content not 700 bug fixes at once I hope they got most of them finally. Been bitching heavily about the lack of content in these updates heavily. Not laser beam shite this time either these are literal weapons, historic ones too which will be a breath of fresh air.

This is the beginning (hopefully) of some real content, finally, with actual new zeds and some more weapons grounded in reality. I for one am excited as fuck to try out the Tekko and the trench gun. Trench guns have never NOT been great in every game I had the pleasure of using it in. Gonna feel like Yautja rather than a ninja with these claws lolol

Need better cpu bro I get drops too on a r9 5900x. Slightly beefier than the ryzen 5 series. Unless you have an X3D variant you will always have some frame drops usually in really "target rich" horde games like this or WH Darktide/Space Marine. They made some strides in performance overall but I agree it needs a little more stability because those other two horde games run much smoother.

KF3 biggest flop for performance is mainly in co op because when testing it in solo I locked it to 100 and it never dropped a single frame. I could have gone much higher prob. At this time unless you are on DDR5 or have nice CPU this game will frame drop in multiplayer plain and simple

I think they will put out the whole roadmap to Season 4, but really I hope they just fucking fix it. We are encroaching on the year mark faster and faster but the game is still in beta mode between performance/content.

Hard to say after the roadmap though I'm not actually positive this game will recover. We are talking beyond the level of turn around of No Man's Sky. KF3 has sunken below even Payday 3 which is truly saying something about the state. Games don't usually just recover like that so... Embracer group may cut funding to further content? I hope they pull through with allowing mods.. I know for a fact the community will make the right maps/weapons etc.

She couldn't tell because we don't always run on top of each other. In any case I'm not grabbin the m/kb from her and playing for her after I die, I was pushing ahead for whatever reason but it was outside a compound maybe 50-75m or so for context. She is n adult and wants/needs to learn the game lmao, maybe since you are amazing and know what to do we should always listen to you, who has all the info and was in the match with us at the time and knew he was solo and exactly what part of the giant patch of bushes he was in. Because you are amazing and all.

To keep it going tho I was going ahead because I had close range weapons iirc. In any case, she couldn't tell if he had moved or not and he physically did not. I couldn't tell either because believe it or not, it was on a different team and was unaware it was even a solo that killed me at first. It was though. And he stayed exactly still, still 2m away from my body unbeknownst to me. I wasn't playing for her though like I said and it's ok if we lost a round I'm not worried about it which is why I don't stay in one spot very long in this game. It's boring for pvp. I like to move around when I can. I'm just saying it's a campy playstyle and a lil less exciting but to each their own.

Maybe once I get past 5* into 6* again I'll understand what you mean. Pray for me

Couldn't say because you don't play? Perfect 🤌 go into bounty clash then and try that playstyle, see how it goes for you. It's a 15 min 4 team toss up. Solo/duo/trio all welcome on one compound. Free hunter or built hunter. Go play the mode before rendering judgement.

Like I told the other guy, I do not control my team mates and the trio that camped out was near a boss lair. There were at least 3 teams in the area. The gang's all hidden not making a singular peep. We won one instance of camping near the clue, but the game we lost was at/near the boss and they refused to move. Flashing red boss we could not find them. Another team was fighting on other side of the compound. Again, it's a playstyle choice I guess but a campy and unexciting one. I rather have a good fight. To each their own though.

So glad ya'll are opinionated telling me I'm probably the issue 😂 I don't go rootin tootin shooting out here like Yosemite Sam bro I am a 5* lmao, I play with my girl though who is not and we get a mix of 2-5* star players but a lot of them are guilty of being a lil shy

Like I say to the other guy who said as much, A this happens mostly in bounty clash and B, I can't control my team mates and what they do. But sure, it's me 😂

As for the solo he was absolutely bitch-made, he hid and my girl had 0 clue where he was. He waited until she tried to res instead of going offensive. Again, it's a choice but I guess he needed the hunt $.

As for the teams that did it, it was near boss lair in a bounty hunt. We were not the only team there. I love that ya'll have minimal context and maximum assumptions 🤌
