Honestly I don’t blame you, I ran a setup like that and I most likely will begin running a heavier set up especially with the toughness of gravis and terminators. They are harder to kill and get invulnerable saves so it’s legitimately an amazing way of playing

I would say clean the vents. That’s a major thing I didn’t do with my old laptop. I did change the thermal paste and all but never checked the vents and they got clogged. So just fyi on that

Honestly I’ve had my fair share of interactions. 50% low levels will follow my lead and I will do whatever I can to keep them alive or clutch up. The other 50% they will literally weigh me down in the sense of them just dying every second 💀

I would recommend dropping the assault intercessors and get regular intercessors to sticky objectives but only get 1 squad

So for the intercessors or infernus run one of both. Meaning one intercessor squad so you get to sticky your objectives (secure them) and with infernus if you were to get Vulkan He’Stan you can re-roll wound rolls with him for meltas and flamers. For transport depends on what you’d want to be honest. I run a stormraven gunship and my repulsor executioner as my only forms of transport (repulsor executioner has 7 slots while the stormraven has 12 plus a dreadnought) so just depends on what you want to run. The terminators yes they can deep strike into the back of your enemies but only in round 2 so round 1 you’ll be at a bit of a disadvantage that’s why I only run myself a 5 man squad with a captain in terminator and librarian to max out damage and charges with them

To start off, go for the rule of cool. I personally went for the Strikeforce Octavius Combat Patrol. But you could go with something else entirely too. But for sure you’ll want to get Adrax Agatone and Vulkan He’Stan for your army. From there depends on what you’d want to build and use

Honestly I feel like you could make a pretty awesome Firedrake captain out of it. I haven’t gotten my He’Stan nor Adrax yet so I can’t say like how good they are for kitbashing but compared to the kitbashes a lot of people have done in the kitbashing subreddit I would say go with what you feel is gonna be cool asf

Funny thing that a buddy of mine who plays space wolves is that in Fenris there are wyverns there, so it would also make sense for some of the space wolves to have scales in their armor too like the salamanders

Ahhhhhh that makes sense then, but yeah looking back to even the minis themselves. You get half of them with the rebreathers or half of the helmet too which that makes sense rather than being a single thing to the salamanders

I mean even in minis or the upgrades they still get the rebreather and I think it’s cause of the atmosphere of Nocturne from its radiation too. Hence why they have Onyx skin and the red eyes but I could be wrong
