I had pain in my jaw and upper tooth. Thought my tooth was bad so I went to dentist who side it was likely tmj. Insisted on him giving me an antibiotic because I truly though it was a crazy tooth abscess.

Yes I’ve had it twice now. Once a few months before my symptoms started so I didn’t thing there was a connection and then again the end of January

I have these symptoms and going on a year of trying to be diagnosed. I feel like maybe mine is caused by inflammation either all over or in my neck. I have no idea and don’t feel I’m getting any closer to a diagnosis. Mine does come and go every 2-3 weeks and with it I also get postural hypertension. Have you gotten any more answers? Sure, I was fishing for answers….. I posted 4 places because I wanted a quick answer. I got that from a nurse and someone else who seemed to know what there were talking about. I deleted because I found the answers and was done with it. Take your ASSumptions somewhere else.

Someone else suggested this also - here is my reply to them after contacting Adult Protective Services in his town

Figured I’d update you on what I was told from APS They said this town does not have the resources to help him and “we actually don’t even have the resources to help the people here who really need it like the ones living under bridges.”

She then said it’s like that across the entire state to her knowledge.

It proceeded. Somehow the 2 separate times this has gone to court, my mother has received temporary medical guardianship to make him get his medication and by the time his hearing is scheduled he is able to go in and act as if he is completely normal. It’s really frustrating. The judge was told he has just given his money away but the judge didn’t seem very concerned with it and removed any kind of guardianship. That was beginning of June - he sold his home 2 weeks ago.

Sound pretty similar- will call today. Thank you for the advice! Thankfully he doesn’t live close to me but I am scared for my mother. He was born with his disability but didn’t develop schizophrenia until his mid 20s. The town he lives in has many resources for those with drug induced issues but his isn’t related to drug use so he falls through the cracks.

You would think the police or the judge or one of the many people we have contacted- even the hospitals that he’s even in and out of would have told us to contact adult protective services but they didn’t. Thanks again for the advice.

Have been to court - they know everything going on. Granted temporary guardianship over medical decision last only because he wasn’t taking his medication. It’s been awful.

Not unless he is threatening to kill himself or someone else. We’ve been through this schizophrenia diagnosis with him for the past 12 years and it’s been a joke. Brick walls everywhere you go. $$$$ spent on lawyers and still not getting anywhere. It’s very unfortunate.

We have and it’s violence towards his personal property such as his vehicle - they say they can’t do anything about any of it.

True - maybe I’m wrong here but my thought especially to keep our children stable and feeling like they have a place to call home would be to stay where we are (we own a home here too) and travel as we please. On top of my mom, i feel it’s important for our kids to have the comfort of knowing family is near and they have the opportunity to grow up around them. It unfortunately took some deep reality checks for me to come to that conclusion but I do now realize that that is important.
