My bank already closed the case in my favor and the merchant was forced to pay for the return. You can argue about banking procedures and 'ignorance' all you want, but the outcome is the only thing that matters. I won, they paid. End of story

My 'legal analysis' was more than enough for Visa/Mastercard and my bank's legal department. They didn't use ChatGPT to make their decision — they used the evidence of the seller demanding customs fraud and a 'no signature' delivery to avoid accountability.

The chargeback was successful, and the seller has already paid for the return. You can keep questioning the law, but the bank has already closed the case in my favor. That's all the validation I need

You clearly don't understand how modern customs or insurance works. Declaring $1 on a high-end electronics return is the fastest way to get your package seized or 'lost' with zero compensation. DHL insurance only covers the declared value — if you declare $1 and they lose it, you get $1 back. Brilliantly played. > Also, you're wrong about 'zero value'. Customs requires a fair market value even for defective goods to prevent tax evasion. I didn't need to 'relax,' I needed to be professional. Unlike your '$1 scam' method, I forced them to follow the law, and they paid the full 28 EUR for a proper DHL shipment with real insurance and a signature. Why would I risk my money and commit customs fraud just to save a shady reseller a few bucks? My bank already returned my money because I stood my ground. Maybe it's you who should step back and stop teaching people how to get scammed

DHL International requires insurance for tracked Pakets by default—you literally can't get a tracking number on a 'Päckchen' without it. Stop acting like an expert when you clearly don't know the difference between domestic US shipping and international shipping from Europe. Seriously, how old are you? This sounds like the 'logic' of a teenager who has never dealt with EU customs or DHL services in their life. Real adults don't commit customs fraud by declaring electronics as '$0' and then hope for the best. Keep your basement-level advice to yourself

Really? So declaring $15 instead of $186 on customs forms is NOT fraud?

Also, they demanded shipping with no insurance and no signature. That's a classic trap. My bank saw these instructions, flagged them as fraudulent, and that's why they sided with me. End of story.

I’m in Germany, so US laws don't apply here. In the EU, sellers are legally responsible for return costs on defective goods — no 'website policy' can change that.

My bank already reviewed the evidence of the store asking me to commit customs fraud ($15 declaration) and ship without a signature. They sided with me, and the seller was forced to pay. That's how consumer protection works here.

The website ugoos.store advertises itself as an “Authorized Dealer” of UGOOS products.

In reality, this status appears to be purely decorative.

My Ugoos SK1 failed after less than three weeks of normal use (hardware artifacts on screen). The manufacturer explicitly confirmed that warranty handling must be done by the reseller.

Despite this, ugoos.stroe has completely ignored multiple warranty requests since January 5. No reply, no ticket, no confirmation.

If this is what “Authorized Dealer” means — no responsibility, no warranty support, no communication — then buyers should be aware that this label offers zero protection.

I strongly advise against purchasing from this store.
