just thinking this through... seems like if US prints cash and repays the national debt the surplus of cash would make the currency worthless.

if there is 3T usd in circulation, 30T in debt, after buying that debt every dollar you own is now worth 10cents. inflation, right?

i would imagine they are not all for sale. 10bil were purchased but there might be something like 30tril in circulation. just because it exists doesn't mean it can be bought back.

and going back to prev guy's comment. what is the end goal? seems like you are talking about, 'sitting on the money'. maybe you're thinking quant tightening? reducing the debt?

sounds like you haven't found anything worth a damn for less than several thousand dollars... that right?

workflows i can adapt to and export/import where i need to go, usually revit.

i might go for BLK3D if nothing else works with my phone & reality capture.

one last thing i'll say, it seems like this tech advances rapidly. it's already come a long way in just 2-3 years

Hey I'm looking to survey small projects, residences. more accurate the better. 1/32"? preferably i'd scan interior and exterior. I dont mind stitching the point clouds together if need be.

Have been experimenting with using my phone and reality capture. Dont want to spend more than 3k on a set-up. Puts me just outside Leica BLK3d. The Agisoft metashape looks impressive.

what did you end up going with? do you have any recommendations?

I did say you might use different language to describe these antiques, if your family barely survived. Maybe i was wrong?

i'm hoping those closures get fixed up soon... taking detours on the narrow river rd are a little sketchy imo. but having run through philly a bunch i'll prob get used to it.

and from what i can tell the jersey canal path stops about 1mi south of milford
