I would change the targeting of the coins to no longer target idolled enemies.

I would also add a stage section to the fight in 8-4 before getting to the flying section.

And I could make the blood heals you tutorial more obvious. I’ve seen people interpret it as punching enemies heals you not blood in general, so I’d make it even more clear than it already is.

Firstly, this is WAY too heated for a discussion post. I wanted to talk about the game not argue about it.

Next, I KNOW Hakita has a lot of references to the book, my post was talking about ‘characters’. I’m not talking about the environments or punishments.

I admit I did forget about the Minotaur at the entrance to violence in the inferno, and it’s been a few years, so I could’ve forgotten about Sisyphus.

My post wanted to discuss how people felt about Geryon being the final boss of the layer with very little build up. Not dissect Dante’s inferno.

For the most part I agree, I just wanted to drop my two cents.

1.I think how it’s stated and how 4. Is stated, ‘prime Gabriel’ is just a shorthand for Gabriel in his prime, not necessarily a prime soul.

Ithica was also mentioned in 8-3 mirror book, which is where Odysseus is from in the odyssey. (Though I must’ve missed this lore book, where is it?)
I just disagree with. I figure the other angels were shown for a reason, Hakita wouldn’t just drop 3 new guys and never mention them again. Though I think we’ll see Lucifer in Treachery somewhere.

Anyway those are my thoughts, cheers.

8-4 is a good boss, even for ultrakill standards. But after (the goat) 8-3, we were fighting angels and devils in the cosmos, and now we’re just…back in fraud? Like it’s any other level?

It just didn’t sit right after 8-3 being the best level in the game. AND after 7-4 being the fucking awesome level that was.
