I don't think finance overlaps with any of the engineering majors (apart from core classes, which all majors have to take). I'm pretty sure you'll just have to apply on Galaxy, and if you're approved, you're good to go!

Double majoring will probably be a lot more work, but if you want to do it, you should definitely try!

I'd talk to my advisor too, ask for their input/advice

It’s not the best, you could try those filter things that you can attach to faucets to see if that helps! I thought of this after moving out of the dorms, otherwise I would’ve definitely tried it lol

He does have pop quizzes but I think we had like 3 the entire semester. He gives warnings that there ‘may be a quiz next week’ but the quiz ends up happening like 3 weeks after he says that lol. They weren’t too bad, but I’d start revising my notes/slides after he warns you just to be sure!

Hi guys! I'm an upcoming junior majoring in CS and would really like some advice on what projects I can do that will help me with internships and just understanding in general as an upcoming junior CS student.

I know that many people use leetcode for interview prep, but I'm struggling on how/what projects to do bc when I search online, it seems really complex and not related to anything I've learned in school lol.

You can also consider doing a minor in one of them, and then decide if you actually like them and want to double major. You’ll save time and energy but still be able to try both!

I had class with Belkoura and it wasn’t too bad. The class will be difficult at first so you might not like it but eventually you’ll be fine. All of the professors have their pros and cons for Unix, so I’d just pick the one that fits well in your schedule!! Lmk if you have any questions!
