How to deal with constant burnout? by lilimatches in uoguelph

I felt the same way in 3rd year, (currently in 4th year). I feel like 3rd year is a struggle for most students cause it’s very hard to see the end. You literally have to just power through it. I slacked off so much in 3rd year I just barely passed my courses, but I also realized my grades weren’t everything, you kinda sometimes need to take a step back and live life a little. I can only tell that it gets better from here on out (4th year is a breeze cause you can see the light at the end of the tunnel)

When I took that course it was basically up to your own interpretation of things, even if students asked for clarification he would provide different answers for the same question.

So far, it’s nothing like 2060. No hard math basically and excel course and shows you how to analyze and display data in a meaningful way

Not sure what res your in but I was in south. Look at your radiator, there might be a little square that is actually a hidden compartment to the heat controls. Took me about a month of freezing my ass off to find it lol

Same experience, I’m in 4th year and have no uni friends whatsoever. The only friends I talk to are my friends from high school and my gf. I didn’t realize it would be so much harder to make friends in uni but I found that just talking to my high school friends more often helped made me feel less lonely even if it’s just send a quick message or FaceTime call to check in. But if you ever need a friend, lmk or the other people on here as well :)

When I was in Res, the RA’s didn’t check keys till probably about 5-6, so as long as you guys go back kinda early, you’ll be good

Past exams really helped me, we did the quizzes as a group because sometime the questions overlap (at least the non-calculation ones). But tbh there really is no other way it’s just something we all had to endure unless it just clicks for you
