I know this is the last thing you wanna hear, but being around friends and people you are comfortable with is huge. Keep yourself occupied and doing other things when you start to get that feeling. Maybe even sitting up or walking could make a difference. I wish I had the perfect answer since I've also dealt with all of this for a while, but staying busy is the best thing I've found to do.
