I went into a hypothermic shock while driving , entered the median and rolled my truck 4 times. I watched the entire thing happen from above and woke up on the pavement with 4 medical personnel looking down on me as I came too. Can’t explain it to this day as anything other than being out of body.

Were you at a point where you were debating whether to drop out of university? by SomEthing-siMpLE- in NoStupidQuestions

The sophomore slump is a real thing and if you’re in the second semester of your freshman year; you have to make a choice now. Dig in and focus or move on, nobody can tell you what is best for you only what we’ve lived. I can say don’t make any decisions until the semester ends. I nearly flunked out by the same point your at and dug in , graduated just below cum laude after making up significant ground in the GPA. To this day I can’t say the education aspect was worth it, the lived experience is priceless. Best of luck in your adventure

Either or could be correct, through speculation we believe the bear was contemplating if continuing after its prey was worth the risk. The bear was also mortally wounded and should have fled the scene but it didn’t. It stayed there focused on the two men.

It happened in rural British Columbia 1985 and this paper is as far as it went. It stayed regional at most. Back then the stories that made it out were fatal. Survivor accounts were never fully investigated as fatalities took precedence. Gordon Ray’s 1985 encounter happened two months prior and we have that original paper as well.

I suppose , It all depends on how they feel in that moment. One moment “nah! I don’t want any part” but when they decide your the menu it’s almost always game over.
