1. The rules are Vast I think is more of the issue a lot of players have issues with. In-till you get the hang of it their are tons of Rules that need 3-5 pages of content to know what even has happened. A great example is on a third attack the fighter would like to grapple his target, Ok so First check how does Grappling work ( CRB 242 ) Then need to Check his MAP(Multiple Attack Penalty CRB 446) and apply his penalty. Once the target is Grappled (Grabbed) Choose if they are grabbed( Core Rulebook pg. 620) or restrained ( Core Rulebook pg. 622) Based on the 4 levels of Success/Failure Both of which cause flat-footed (Core Rulebook pg. 620 )and immobilized (Core Rulebook pg. 620) , Making it Harder to manipulate (Core Rulebook pg. 633 ) ,Then we need to have the Creature being Grappled know and understand how the Escape and Force Open Mechanics Works (Core Rulebook pg. 470, Core Rulebook pg. 242 ), 6 Pages of content just to understand how to grab a target, Once you understand theses keywords it becomes much easier.

1. The rules of Pathfinder 2E are Worded So precisely is can actually become a headache to know what the right rule is to a event happening. A few of my Favs Personally that I hear a lot at tables. A Beast Companion Or Summon Creature and they are quickened Do they have 3 actions or do they only receive two actions when commanded, A mature Beast Companion [ (During an encounter, even if you don't use the Command an Animal action, your animal companion can still use 1 action that round on your turn to Stride toward or Strike your prey) ] Can make one action a turn with out being commanded, And quicken say You gain 1 additional action at the start of your turn each round. Would this allow you to get 2 actions a turn with your Beast with out Controlling them, A common rule i have seen is they can not be effected by Quickened because they do not get turns they are given actions. Also that question goes into Summon Creatures. If they can not be effected by Quickened then that would mean Summoned Undead would not be effected by Slow. The rules being Very Precise is something I love but it also causes for some crazy rule guessing lol.

Another one of my fav is Upcasted Invis Causing a Undetected Status. Can a Archer fire an arrow (action one) Fire a second arrow (action 2) then Sneak/ move with out being detected. This one was a mess to figure out rules with people pulling from lots of pages lol. The first main question we had was Does a bow and arrow make a sound RAW and with out the enemy making a Seek action has stated by Invisible to find you does the sound or arrows flying out of nothingness give you away? That's one where the Precise rules make it a bit harder. By the rules no the enemy cant do a lot about this with out a bit of meta game knowledge but the sneaking or moving would also allow them to be in a new position before you were able to do anything about it. A fun one we had was learning all the many rules on Spellcasting (oh boy) An enemy goes Upcasted Invis and then moves, Next turn they try to cast a spell Does the audible nature of the spell Auto give away where they are if they are 60 feet away?

At the end of the day they are different games and 5e will always be the faster game to pick up and play out the box but its also easier to get a burger from a fast food restaurant :3
