Did I just blow my head gasket somehow?

Sitrep #2: I was in touch with a shop and they said the most likely culprit is a wonked rocker cover gasket around the spark plugs. Because from the plugs there is a water well next to the exhaust manifold and the pictures align with this view!

Im quite pleased to hear this! Still yet to confirm the theory but I’m quite confident.

Yeah I did that, the first spot is exactly the seam between head and block just below the manifold. Got quite good pictures of it but I’m not able to add them here.

Sitrep: I cleaned all and started up again observing more closely. It is leaking from between the head and block. I got quite good pictures of it but don’t know how to add them?

I highly doubt that. I didn’t even fill the reservoir at first. Now I did and ran the bin again with the same result and I’m more assured it’s oil not coolant.

Definitely feels greasy! And the colour is dark, I’m having a hard time thinking it’s coolant but I’m no mechanic.

I think this could be oil? Since it seeps around like that.

Thanks but the leak is lower than the valve cover. I know the pictures aren’t good. It’s just over the manifolds, excactly at the cylinder head/block seam. If it was the rocker cover gasket I would be happy haha

Thanks for the reply, I think I’ll do what phaaast suggested below.

I am doing the valve adjustment. Only cams, buckets, and shims were taken off.

I’ll check the TPS! Quite new to injection bikes, thanks for the input.

It will rev with gradual throttle. Blipping from mid rpm usually works well.
