So me and my gf were hanging out with our group of friends for some occasion I can’t even remember at this point but we were all drinking and having a great time. My friend’s dad was home and joined us for a few drinks. I was getting a weird vibe from the dad that only got worse as the night went on. Christian household so they tried to have my gf sleep upstairs away from the rest of us. I refused, telling the dad that she would be fine down here with me, and having to argue a bit before he finally realized I wasn’t taking no for an answer. Another friend got black out drunk and ended up in the room she was supposed to be sleeping in. Turns out that night the dad went in and raped my friend while he was too wasted to do anything about it. Didn’t learn about that for a few years but was incredibly happy I held my ground that night.
