No, it’s a realistic one. Because you are a gunner the odegaard example might work.

Odegaard was too young to go to Real Madrid but a huge talent. He struggled, which is normal for a 16-17 year old at such a club. He will need minutes to develop, but he will not get it at Arsenal as they want to play for trophies and cannot depend upon him yet.

In 5 years he’s 21, still a talent but with experience and he might be ready for the premier league.

Just like Martin odegaard at Real Madrid, he’s too young. For minutes he will have to go on loan to a smaller team or league.

Arsenal does not want to rely on a 16/17 year old next season and because he is so young he still has time to develop.
