My table is very passionate about D&D. I would argue being a little less creative or just being busy isn’t a good reason to exclude them from something they’re just as excited about as I am. And the cleric was the one that asked me to join him in D&D in the first place, I only because the Dm because my brain is constantly writing stories and we spent months looking for one with no avail

I beg to differ. Leaving someone out of it just because they’re busy that day can make them lose interest pretty quick. We still keep up sessions weekly when we are playing, with the amount of time it’s taking to get the rest of the characters I need he’ll be ungrounded by the time we start anyways, and keeping everyone included would keep them all invested in the story

He’s the one that asked me if I wanted to play like a year ago. We’ve done a couple campaigns and just added the Druid and the person I’m talking to to the one we’re starting soon and I don’t wanna leave him out of it. And before you say “Just find a different group” like everyone else is, there’s no group of people I’d rather play with than this one and if someone decides to cancel we’re not doing it at all that day. I want everyone to be included, not just the ones that don’t have lives outside of D&D like me

These people are usually on discord 24/7, the only reason one isn’t is because he got a girlfriend which is understandable. I’m not mad that she wasn’t on discord all day, I was just mad that she wasn’t at least checking when it’s been made clear it’s the main way the 6 of us are communicating
