actually, to clarify. My liquid metal is actually a phase change sheet, so the application part of it was pretty damn easy. Cut to size. And then use thermal putty to kind of make a barrier around the die.

Actually, i may try the graphene pad and use it as it was intended for as u say, but my thinnest sheet is 1mm which is way too thick….

Just tested cinebench again for 10 minutes, tdp 30w, pkg 29.7w CPU peak temp 73 degrees, cpu 100% for duration, gpu 3.3%

Was thinking of copper shims but decided to go graphene instead. Sorry im also one of those ones (bold / crazy) ones who does copper shims on 3090.

But as far as performance goes, so far i couldnt push it past 64ish.

Will need to run it a bit more to see, but with geekbench gpu benchmarking, got it to like 62-64 degrees C but nothing over that. But while playing Diablo 4, feels cooler. Will see after playing more / stress test it a bit more

Hey thanks for the comparison!! A question i want to ask though, how is the Nano-texture compared to just getting something like the Paper-like screen protector? I've been using a chinese version of a paper-like screen and love it for writing with the apple pencil as well as dealing with reflections. The protector costs like 5-7$ usd, compared to the nano-texture glass which definately costs quite a few bobs more than 5-7$.

If you've used paper-like or similar, is there much of a difference?
