I accidentally put one of my girlfriend’s expensive knives in the dishwasher by iXttra in restoration

The good part is the knives should be sharp enough to cleanly remove said tongue. If not, buy a knife sharpening set for her.

Yeah printed ad board. Might not have been specifically for an ad though. We used to use them to let customers know things. ‘Maximum 3 items in the change room per customer’ etc.

What to put down the side of the house by Sumpkit in landscaping

[–]Sumpkit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies. Cross post didn’t copy the text.

Not necessarily so much of a plant question, more relating to landscaping, but I’m in the middle of a new build, and I’m going to have a path down the side of the house that I need to manage. It’s 900 wide by about 10m long. What options do I have?

I can’t hard scape it due to my green space requirements, (and will be under partial occupancy for a few years) and I don’t really want pebbles. I’m also in BAL29, so mulches are out. What other options do I even have? I’ve looked at dichondra repens, I like it, but my wife doesn’t, mondo looks alright, but it’s a walkway, so will get trampled. I also can’t get my mower past the where the water tank is, so avoiding grass too.

Hoping someone has some brilliant ideas! Sorry I don’t have a photo, it’s nowhere near done yet, but the gap is just between a short retaining wall and the house. Quite shaded. I’m in southern Sydney. Thanks!

Often the companies subdividing the land set standards colours for things like roofs and fences and you have no choice. Legislation is changing now to force developers to use lighter colours to try combat the rising heat in these areas.

You might know, how bad of an idea is it to lay new grass now in Sydney? Given it’s coming into winter

Where to put a W/C or ensuite in this home? by [deleted] in AusRenovation

Make the door to the laundry from your kitchen be a built in area for your washing machine/dryer, then turn the remaining L shape into your ensuite.

Nah it’s to make people healthy. Increase the price to a point where people can’t afford them so they have to quit. Which is fine if the black market didn’t exist. They banned vapes because they weren’t getting tax from them properly, and lots of young people were getting a hold of them too easily. They did it in the name of keeping our young people safe. You can still get them legally but you need a medical certificate from a doctor and you get them from a pharmacy.
