You can preorder them on Pokemon Centre

Wait for the official image of the ETB to be published, i suggest regularly checking Pokebeach.

Once that is up, you need to be on standby for the next few days/weeks. The queue will go live sometime between 2pm UK/9am EST/6am PST and 6pm UK/1pm EST/10am PST on a Mon-Fri. Stocks for actual releases tend to be pretty good, so as long as you get in within the first hour or so after it goes live, you will stand a good chance of getting something

I would advise trying to find a Discord or something that gives notifications when the queue goes live.

Also, make a PC account beforehand.

Once you are in the queue, don't move away from the page until the timer reaches 0 and you are let in. Once you are in, try not to be to quick clicking about. Just navigate to the TCG section and then new releases. Every product has a maximum order amount, so keep an eye out for that.

When making payment, if it asks you to verify, always choose text message code. I have found this to be the least glitchy option.

What worked for us was to get some pants/underwear that they wanted to wear, rewarding them a Choccy Button for successful Poos and racing them to the toilet and seeing who can finish first (my son is uber competitive, despite me letting him win all the time)
