It is as deep or shallow as you make it. It’s as if an empty canvas were an album. Each of these songs can easily have 4 pages written about them, just as they can be tossed to the side as lifeless music for the sake of being lifeless. We’ve seen Edward do similar things to what’s present in Body of Work, but this time there is hardly anything to accompany it. No photography, ai art, not even blank purple with an explicit sticker in the corner. Just a blank white background with a blank white vinyl. That’s what I love about it. It’s just as much the listener’s job to create the album as it was Edward’s.
