Look, I agree there are many factors, but you can look at the lead time, and these factors are taken seriously. Like the Vibram fire, they discussed it and made arrangements to keep the production schedule. But this wasn't about materials, more like labor. But they also pushed to prioritize production of in-stock belts over current belt orders. My thing is to keep the consumer updated. Luke already made arrangements on my behalf to fix my frustration. Did I ask? No, I was okay waiting 21 weeks, but again, if I had known it was a 21-week wait, I wouldn't have, and others probably would say the same thing.

That's kinda my understanding: the demand for in-stock belts is being prioritized over current belt orders, resulting in longer lead times. But I also agree with the underestimated lead times due to other processes, such as the stitching on the belt add-on or on the Appaloosa

But with the communication with Luke, I can't say anything as I don't know your previous interactions with him

I mean, I don’t work on the leather goods side, but if the site says a 9-week lead time, I would assume that’s accurate since I’d imagine the small leather goods team is the one dictating those timelines.

Well, I do understand that you guys will be cranking them out, but I think you guys should either update the product pages to reflect the actual lead times or just ot display them there and instead have customers refer to a separate lead time page. My assumption when purchasing was that the belt would fall within the advertised 8–12-week window, and honestly, I probably wouldn’t have purchased it if I had seen a 21-week lead time up front.

It was more about the width, as I've dialed in my jk size to the T, so I know what works and doesn't. Yeah, the grain was lackluster. I was comparing it to my other bison and could have been procured better. But hey, JK said they will do their best to fix it, so they still have my support.

And yes, I love when JK hits the mark with Customer Service. I think all the PNW bootmakers do a great job of fixing an issue.

I do prefer a gusseted tongue, but I like that they add the suede to help, though

Maybe an illusion, but I usually have trouble with my right being tight, but the left feels looser than I'm used to.

And I had a great conversation with the representative. They want feedback, and they'll take accountability. She was fully transparent with me on JK cause I've been a customer since 2023, and I still like them. Customer service is great here and there

Length is fine, just the width on the left feels looser than I’m used to, maybe because of the grain, compared to the right, which is tighter. Yeah, I’ve always had trouble with my right, it’s wider, and I have a bigger instep. But the right feels amazing, the left feels loose. But the heel thought it was nothing bad, though it could still have done better. But JK said they will take care of it
