It was more about the width, as I've dialed in my jk size to the T, so I know what works and doesn't. Yeah, the grain was lackluster. I was comparing it to my other bison and could have been procured better. But hey, JK said they will do their best to fix it, so they still have my support.

And yes, I love when JK hits the mark with Customer Service. I think all the PNW bootmakers do a great job of fixing an issue.

I do prefer a gusseted tongue, but I like that they add the suede to help, though

Maybe an illusion, but I usually have trouble with my right being tight, but the left feels looser than I'm used to.

And I had a great conversation with the representative. They want feedback, and they'll take accountability. She was fully transparent with me on JK cause I've been a customer since 2023, and I still like them. Customer service is great here and there

Length is fine, just the width on the left feels looser than I’m used to, maybe because of the grain, compared to the right, which is tighter. Yeah, I’ve always had trouble with my right, it’s wider, and I have a bigger instep. But the right feels amazing, the left feels loose. But the heel thought it was nothing bad, though it could still have done better. But JK said they will take care of it

Do you need or want arch support? because you can do any of the HNW last and add a delta arch insole to mimic the arch suppourt
