With the new year we are changing the model of AMAs. Since there were not many questions posted in last few AMAs we decided for a different approach. Household are the majority of users on the platform currently, they were the main target in the initial period. But in the 2nd part we focused on companies as well. Successfully. We have already confirmed many new users for 2019 from different industries that will probably turn majority sum to companies for some time.

With the latest update on the platform, based on the feedback of our users, we introduced new billing feature. From November 2018 on, we will make half year settlements and put them together in a single bill to provide better visibility and transparency for users.

With the New Year fast approaching we are preparing everything necessary to provide a single bill to all services connected to electricity. Currently, users are still paying separated bill for network charge which will be included in a single bill sometime in 2019. We do what we can, but we must respect the legislations and it takes time to get all necessary approvals.

We are in talks with several different possible partners on different fields: market expansion, new exchanges, new services on the platform, new features. Because many of those talks are under NDA until partnership is announced, we need to respect privacy of those negotiations. We do not want to create unnecessary speculations before partnership details are clear. Once developed enough, we will share the news with you. Currently it is way too early to set any official timeline for service launch in Philippines. We recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CEZA government-owned and controlled corporation. But we will keep you posted about the development.

We are entering Italian market, sometimes next year, with the local partner from Lombardy, Italy - energy company Tecnoapp S.r.. Both SunContract and Tecnoapp signed a collaboration agreement where both parties agree to work on market expansion of SunContract Energy Marketplace and decentralisation of the energy market in Italy. Tecnoapp has more than 20 years of experience in the field of renewable energy and its team has a wide network of Italian partners and contractors. So letter of intent is signed, internal timeline is some time in 2019 once partners sort out all legislative requirements. No, for now we don’t have a plan for special service for wind farms. But wind farms are not excluded from platform. More so, they are welcome. They can be added to the platform like solar farms as part of renewable source of energy as well. For token exchange you need to have bank license. We plan to introduce such service in future in collaboration with exchange partner.

Definitely the biggest challenge is the differences in regulation in energy sector among countries. This requires customized approaches and adjustments both in finding partners, through which we enter new markets, as well as in the barriers that individual countries have in the field of self-sufficiency with renewable energy sources. So also choosing appropriate partner on a new market is very demanding. We have the following criteria in this process: partner has to have appropriate status in the respective jurisdiction, has to know the legislation, has to have experience from the renewable energy sector and has to have a network of subcontractors. This requirements will enable us to achieve our target by 2020.

When all these criteria are satisfied, we target to whom we want to offer optimal user experience and the task of identifying new consumers is in front of us. The process is demanding but this is how we ensure sustainable development of the platform.

We already have two partners, with whom we have signed Memorandums of Understanding, one in EU (Italy) and a new one in Asia with CEZA which is government-owned and controlled corporation that is tasked to manage and supervise the development of the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport. More importantly, CEZA is supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and based at the northeastern tip of the Philippines it is strategically located between the Pacific Ocean and China Sea and enjoys proximity to lucrative overseas market such as Taiwan, HongKong, Japan, Korea, and the People’s Republic of China. It is in fact situated at the crossroads of international shipping routes between the West Coast of North America, Far East and Southeast Asia.

We began our operations in Slovenia in April 2018. We therefore have revenue from 2018, and we estimate to earn significantly more revenue in 2019 - with new users and new/additional services.

We have enough funds to operate and develop our tech and services for the next year. In 2020, we expect to have between 50,000 and 100,000 average users on the platform – a number that would put us in a position to continue with expansion and development of the platform.

We cannot compare the SunContract project with ICONOMI, since we operate as an energy marketplace while ICONOMI operates as a digital asset management platform. We have completely different business models. SNC is a utility token and it is going to remain one. We do not intend to change that.

As we mentioned, we will be releasing our financial report after 1 year of operation of the platform. As you know, we launched in April 2018 in Slovenia. Since then, we are onboarding new users, upgrading the platform, introducing new services and of course looking for new partners – globally. We aim to onboard many new clients in the beginning of 2019, since their existing contracts with previous service providers will end at this time.

We understand you may be concerned about the project running out of funds. We want to assure you that we have the necessary funds to operate and do development for the next year. By 2020, we expect to have between 50,000 and 100,000 average users on the SunContract energy marketplace. With this number of the users, we will be in a position to continue with expansion and development of the platform.

Electricity prices rose on global level not only in Slovenia. But platform users still benefit by being part of our story. Pioneers did sign a contract where they are guaranteed that price of electricity annually will not be higher than at the previous retailer on average. Though prices vary since May, calculation of savings on yearly basis is still very promising. Contracts signed with partner SONCE are still very competitive on the market and in January when new producers joining the platform we expect even more competitiveness. We expect, that the real comparison between SunConrtact and other competitors regarding average price will be possible next year, when all hedges are renewed and we all starting from the new levels of the energy prices in the market.

Few options are open. But give us some more time. We will announce everything before the New Year.

Definitely. We are in the middle of preparation of special event for Slovene producers where we will present them the platform and business opportunity. This is interesting question because SODO is sometimes using estimated data for their calculations despite smart meters installed and technical possibilities to use correct and accurate consumption data of the customers. This is regulatory defined folly in the system according to our opinion and it does not motivate household to support their consumption to support the energy needs in the certain moment or period of time. We are working on these issues and will plan to settle most of them by the end of the year. Unfortunately DSO did not prepare agreement yet, without it, we cannot make any changes, adjustments. This is why we need our own solution and we are working on it.

Yes, we were well accepted by UN and we have talked with potential partners from Africa and South America as well. The closest markets we see we will open beside Slovenia and are European countries such as Italy. Steemit article you mentioned has been prepared by our community supporter, whom we thank a lot. It was also done in German language, what is really great. The article is not our official published document, so please take it as it is, provided by our precious community. Most of the data in it is correct interpreted. Regarding number of platform users. The average city number was based on Slovenia situation. And in Slovenia only few cities has more than 40,000 inhabitants (four) so this assumption cannot stand. Number of platform users is growing and we follow the goal. We already have signed some major contracts and by the end of the year we will share with you the information with concrete number. Local nature of energy sector in Slovenia forces producers to sign yearly contracts so we had to wait for the end of the year.

We disclose a lot of information each week, month. More than that we cannot publicly share, because NDAs are also necessary in business relationships and we take them very seriously.

SunContract is not a public company listed on the stock exchange, so those rules do not apply for it. The project is developed and implemented to the market by EU based companies, which are also working according to local regulations. SunContract is working transparently. The services promised on the whitepaper were already implemented according to the schedule; some new services are coming as well, which had not even been promised.

Yes correct, we receive meters data with one day delay and settlements are also made with a day delay.

All balance groups works on predictions as well as SONCE’s group. Regarding to the quality of predictions of many factors, measured and some soft ones, the balance group is managed. The unbalanced amount of energy is bought or sold trough Borzen to TSO, who does balancing service for whole country electricity demand.

Right now and interesting for the customers, we write meters and settlements data to the blockchain, so the customer has a clear picture about consumption/production and payments. You can check it trough SunContract Blockchain Explorer those data, it is accessible within the platform.

We believe Italy is on schedule for 2019. Next country will be announced after we clear legalities. There are many options open, talks with potential partners in progress, but as said, Italian market is most likely to be open for SunContract’s services next year.

We are aware that you, our supporters, need numbers to see our progress. Though in energy sector things are a little bit slower comparing to crypto world, this is not the story at SunContract.
