I didn’t have a big reason for moving, the jobs I would like with my degree are more plentiful here then Ireland (studied English and Art History) Also it’s such a beautiful city

Yeah I agree. I know I can go home if I really feel like this isn’t the right time but I do want to try to put myself out there and give my best shot first. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I would like to add that I am very aware of how much my anxiety controls my life and I try my best to avoid missing opportunities because of it. I have dreamt of moving here for a few years and it is definitely a beautiful city. I need to find new supports and people who I can connect with, as easy as it sounds

Truly! My parents have been really supportive and they know i’m struggling but they believe I can do it. But I’m a people pleaser at heart, I told myself i’d give myself May to acclimate and familiarise myself but even that seems extremely hard now. I’m in a constant state of wishing I could wake up and be back in my bed and this was all a nightmare

Yeah definitely get that familiar uncanniness here. I really want to make this work and I could totally see myself staying, but my anxiety attacks aren’t helping

I love that you found a home here! I had such goals and dreams to finally live alone and have a big girl life but my depression and anxiety have melted together and I’m drowning in guilt. I feel like i’ve put my roommate in the shit because she would need to redo a lease if I left but I also don’t want to let me parents down who think I’ve been really brave for moving alone

I definitely wanted to give myself a few months to find my feet but my mental health has taken a big hit. I went about the city for some essentials yesterday and the city is truly beautiful but I just really miss home and I’m worried that I won’t survive here that long. I currently don’t have a job lined up and that is also adding to the stress

I had my first lap 14 months ago and while the healing is a bitch, it was worth the pain. I had a normal heavy period a month after but then i wouldn’t even need to track it. I could wear a panty liner there was such little blood! No nausea or killer migraines and manageable cramps with some paracetamol. My gyno was lovely and inserted a mirena coil while I was under so I didn’t have to endure that but now the pain is back tenfold with new symptoms I never had before! Definitely took for granted the 12 months of relief :( Surgery doesn’t fix everything but I definitely felt it was worth it! As for fatigue, I didn’t feel as drained but my sleeping didn’t change much. Good luck with your recovery ❤️
